Oh no! It is Sue's training improvement. After I got out of the water I put on the strap from my Powertap for the bike. I love that the Powertap provides you with an excellent snapshot of all your data! Unfortunately the Powertap does not work as well for the run. First, you have to change it's function from the cyclecomputer to heart rate monitor only or it will shut off after four minutes. Second, you would have to carry it in the palm of your hand to see the data. I do this on training runs to store the data but I am way to tired in the race to even think about carrying anything else! If anyone from Saris is out there, I would happily buy a Powertap watch to wear on my run!!! I decided during T2 to just change straps and put on a simple Polar heart rate monitor for the run. Hence the T2 Coffee and Cigarette break time. Not fancy, no recordable data but it kept me focused on the goal.

Comment on After the race; Could someone please Fedex my quads home?

Nice race-report, and job well done! What heart rate monitor did you? I like the summary it gives with rate, speed, cadence, etc.

Comment on DOMS; My Current Domain

I would be interested in learning more about the phases you are going through in your training program.

Comment on Test Week

Strong...very strong!
